Be a champion & advocate the Schools Resource at your school!

School is back and so is football!

To help teachers and students get back into the swing, Football Federation Australia has created a Football Primary Schools Resource to learn at school or home.

The Workbook combines the fun of football with education as it covers four main areas:

1) ACTIVE - Focusing on Physical Literacy, this section is linked to the physical, psychological, social and cognitive domains, with students learning about healthy eating practices and good nutrition.

2) EXPERIENCE. Based on FFA’s junior introductory program, MiniRoos, students can complete football skills and challenges via video-based learning, developing a range of movement skills to apply to football- specific situations.

3) TRANSITION. This section focuses on transitioning to your local football club and the partnership with the state-based member federations.

4) FANS. Students can complete interactive projects and download fun posters and wallpaper as they learn about the Hyundai A-League, Westfield W-League, the Socceroos and Westfield Matildas.

Whether teachers and students are new to football, or are long-time fans, there are activities for a range of abilities.

Schools and teachers can register and download the Workbook here.

Make sure you ask your teacher to use this booklet with your class!
