Advanced Pathway FAQs
I want to get into coaching but don't know where to start?
In Coach Development, we offer both a community and an advanced coaching pathway that are designed to reflect the needs and demands of the two streams of players: those that play for Participation, and those considered Performance players.
- The Community Pathway
Community courses are short, easily-accessible and low-cost as well as being specifically designed for coaches/facilitators who look after Participation players. For more information on the community pathway, click HERE.
- The Advanced Pathway
The Advanced pathway involves longer and much more intensive courses that are specifically designed for coaches who work with Performance players. For more information on the advanced pathway, click HERE.
Do I have to complete a community course before entering onto the advanced pathway?
It is not a pre-requisite of entry into the advanced pathway to have completed a community course however it is highly recommended. The community courses give you a great introduction to the ins and outs of coaching and it will give you the tools and competencies you need to take that next step into the advanced pathway.
