Australia and New Zealand will welcome the world in 2023!
On 26 June, Australia and New Zealand were awarded the right to host the FIFA Women's World Cup 2023.
It was a historic moment for football in Australia and for the Westfield Matildas. As the world's biggest women's sporting event, the FIFA Women's World Cup will present a unique experience for kids and adults to see some of the best female athletes.
It will also be wonderful chance to see the Westfield Matildas taking on the world's best, right in our own backyard.
And we couldn't have done it without you! More than 800,000 of you signed up to show your support and got behind the Bid.
You were a big part of the reason why Australia and New Zealand will be enjoying a festival of football in 2023.
