Want to know some more about Football Australia's new Participation Officers?
Recently, Football Australia has brought on board Participation Officers in each state to assist with the operations and delivery of MiniRoos sessions.
This week we learn a bit more about Alec Da Silva, who is one of our Participation Officers from Western Australia!
Alec started coaching for Football West back in February of this year.
He delivers Sporting Schools and after-school programs for school students across the Perth metropolitan region.
Alex also delivers Walking Football sessions in aged-care facilities, covering all aspects of the game!
The thing he loves most about coaching is that it provides him with the space to help people become more active, and he encourages them to choose Football as it is a sport that is accessible to everybody.
